A symbol of innovation and ecological production in the furniture industry, IMOB produces over 20,000 chairs monthly, being the most complex furniture factory in North-East Romania. “The wood we use comes from our area. We are FSC certified and audited by Smeta and Elevate”, state the company’s representatives.

A family company that started operating in autumn 1990 and had a steady growth ever since.

By constantly reinvesting the profits, we eventually reached a total of approximately 15,000 sqm of industrial facilities, built on a 4-hectare land. That brought us to a production capacity of over 20,000 chairs per month, ten trucks of upholstery products (sofas and armchairs) per week, in addition to any solid wood furniture (bedrooms, living rooms, etc.) our clients require.

Currently, IMOB is the most complex furniture factory in Nord-Eastern Romania and the only factory in the entire country that is able to manufacture sofas, furniture and chairs in the same place, our chair production facility being the most modern and complete in Eastern Europe.

While a number of materials we use are sourced from Europe and China, all of the wood we use comes from our area; we are FSC certified and we are also audited by Smeta and Elevate.
